Older portals often forced a business to bend its process around Dynamics 365 tables: contacts, cases, accounts, whether they fit or not. Power Pages no longer requires that.

A data model that fits
With a custom front end calling Power Pages Web APIs, the site can work directly with Dataverse tables you design for your own process: applications, orders, inspections, claims, whatever the work is. Security is set with table permissions and web roles.
How we do it
- Walk through how the work gets done and sketch the tables while you talk.
- Keep existing rows when the model changes; a release keeps the data you already have.
- Package tables, flows and site in a solution, versioned in your DevOps repo.
